Orthodox Haven was created to serve as a single, well-organized home for those seeking to know, live, and share the Orthodox Christian faith. It is a space where learning and prayer meet; where believers and seekers can find resources to deepen their spiritual lives and grow closer to our sweetest Lord +Jesus Christ+.
Within Orthodox Haven you will find:
- Spiritual resources — articles, lives of the Saints, theological reflections, commentaries, and original writings.
- Media — videos and other visual content exploring faith, tradition, and spiritual life.
- For Children — Bible narrations, Sunday School lessons, and materials designed to help parents and teachers nurture young hearts in the faith.
- Shop — prayer ropes, icons, spiritual books, and other tools to support a life of prayer.
Our Story
My journey began in Astoria, New York, where I was raised in the Holy Protection of the Mother of +God+ Cathedral. Growing up immersed in the services and life of the Church, I developed a love for writing about faith and things relating to living a +Godly+ and perfect life, chanting and byzantine music, and the sacred art of iconography. Over time, I came to see that while Orthodox Christianity is rich and ancient, its presence online was often fragmented and difficult to navigate.
Part of my inspiration came from watching Charlie Kirk and the way he devoted his life to a clear mission through Turning Point USA. Seeing his determination made me stop and ask myself: What is my mission? Of course, as Orthodox Christians, our ultimate mission is to be sanctified — but how do we work toward that?
I realized that I must devote 100% of my life to our +Jesus Christ+, and that conviction inspired me to embark on the journey of creating Orthodox Haven — Truly, a one-stop home for everything Orthodox.
